Some North End restaurants are near impossible to walk into without a wait — and The Daily Catch is one of them. Soon diners won’t need to stand in line to get their favorite squid ink pasta (minus the classic pan).

On Sept. 4, the popular dining spot will open a takeout- and delivery-only window at 331 Hanover St., two doors down from its flagship location. The new window will offer “ a curated menu of New England and Sicilian-style seafood classics ,” including fried calamari, clam chowder, haddock sandwiches, and lobster rolls, according to a news release.
