PHILADELPHIA — The Eagles’ safety competition that took place throughout training camp will likely continue into the regular season and now the team also has a veteran insurance policy at the position.

It emerged late Wednesday night when the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero posted on X that the Eagles were signing Marcus Epps , a seventh-year veteran who spent four seasons in Philadelphia.
