LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Halloween in the Derby City means more than just pumpkins, trick-or-treating and haunted houses.
For the 44th year, the Louisville Zoo is hosting its merry, not scary, Halloween celebration, "Boo at the Zoo."
The beloved event kicks off Saturday, Sept. 27, and will take place Thursday through Sunday nights through Oct. 30.
Tickets are available now on the zoo's website and include admission, parking, rides on the Spooktacular Carousel, the "not-so-itsy-bitsy" Spider House and the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow attraction. They are $13.75 for non-members ages 3 and older and $7.25 for members ages 3 and older. Children 2 and under are free and don't require a ticket.
