Two additional Brookside icons are set to feature in the forthcoming Hollyoaks crossover celebrating the Channel 4 soap's 30th milestone.
The special standalone episode was revealed earlier this month and is scheduled to broadcast in October.
It has been revealed that Sue Johnston will be returning to her role as Sheila Grant , with the actress being accompanied by John McArdie and Paul Usher, who are making comebacks as Billy Corkhill and Barry Grant respectively.
Billy emerged as a pivotal character upon his arrival at the Close during the 1980s alongside his spouse Doreen (Kate Fitzgerald) and their adolescent offspring Rod (Jason Hope) and Tracy (Justine Kerrigan).
