CINCINNATI (WXIX) -The loved ones of a man who claims that he was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of St. Avila Church in West Price Hill while volunteering at bingo are still searching for answers following the incident.

Brent Booker says he recalls the frantic phone call from his mother, where she stated that his stepfather was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night.

“I thought the way my mom called, she was going to tell me he died,” Booker said.

Booker says that his stepfather volunteered there for years.

Once he found out what had happened, he rushed to the scene to find his stepfather with police recounting what had happened at the church.
