Flags across Tennessee and the United States have been lowered to honor those who died and were injured during the mass shooting in Minneapolis on Aug. 27.
President Donald Trump ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff at the White House and across the country at all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels, after a 23-year-old opened fire on a church filled with schoolchildren, killing two students and injuring 18 others .
Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee offered prayers for those killed and injured in the mass shooting.
