University Hospitals in Cleveland received a $2.3 million grant from the John Templeton Foundation to support the expansion and spread of “Living and Leading with Love,” a new approach to address the difficulties staff report about working in health care while improving care outcomes and strengthening trust between patients, providers and health systems.
The UH Veale Healthcare Transformation Institute will oversee the effort under the guidance of Dr. Peter J. Pronovost, UH chief quality and clinical transformation officer and Veale distinguished chair in leadership and clinical transformation and Dr. Patrick Runnels, chief medical officer of the Veale Healthcare Transformation Institute and Population Health, and Ann S. and Anthony J. Asher chair in community health.
