A police officer suffered leg fractures while apprehending a man who allegedly resisted arrest after causing a disturbance at a go-kart track in Wallingford on Wednesday.
Tevin Robles, 28, faces four counts of interfering with an officer and a single count each of assault on public safety personnel, second-degree breach of peace and first-degree criminal mischief, according to Chief John Ventura of the Wallingford Police Department .
Ventura said officers responded to On-Trak Karting at 984 N. Colony Road around 7:30 p.m. on the report of an intoxicated individual arguing with employees and behaving aggressively toward patrons. Once police arrived, Ventura said, Robles allegedly charged at an officer’s cruiser.
