On Thursday afternoon, the CFL club announced the signing of Ajou Ajou after the team released the 23-year-old this off-season to allow him to pursue an NFL opportunity. Article content Article content

The 6-foot-3, 220-pounder recently attended training camp with the Indianapolis Colts, making four catches in three pre-season games, before being released.

“Everybody welcomes that kid into the building,” Roughriders head coach Corey Mace said on Thursday when asked about the team bringing back Ajou. “Love his personality and he’s a good football player too.”

After being drafted by the Roughriders in the seventh round in 2024, Ajou played 12 games in his rookie season where he had 20 catches
