A Fox News host scolded her colleagues on Thursday for dismissing actions of the Trump administration that they would criticize other presidents for doing.

Jessica Tarlov, co-host of the Fox News show "The Five," noted that her colleagues have been silent about President Donald Trump's efforts to use the government as an investment vehicle and assert control over museum content. Tarlov argued that her co-hosts would be up in arms if a Democratic president attempted to make the same moves.

"Let's say a Democratic president had absolutely no respect for Congress, a coequal branch of government," Tarlov said to co-host Greg Gutfield. "Right to appropriate funds, to determine tariff policy. You'd be saying, 'What is this? This isn't what the Constitution wants.'"

"Let's say a Democrat was deploying the national guard to cities controlled by Republicans," Tarlov continued. "Let's say that a Democratic president was shaking down private businesses and saying, 'Give me 10% of Intel and maybe I will make things more favorable.'"

"You would be losing your mind!" Tarlov shouted.

Gutfield argued that Tarlov's examples were biased and shouldn't be accepted.

"You're applying a veneer of bias, and then you expect us to agree with it," Gutfield said. "It doesn't work that way."
