The Buffalo Bills are doing their due diligence on kickers ahead of Week 1.

Per the league’s transaction wire, the Bills worked out three kickers on Thursday: Eddy Piñeiro, Zane Gonzalez and Greg Joseph. Considering the experience of all three kickers, Buffalo seems serious about a Plan B behind Tyler Bass.

Bass, 28, missed much of training camp this summer due to pelvic soreness. The injury lingered into the preseason with the kicker sitting out of the first two exhibition games. Buffalo signed Caden Davis to kick in his place during that span, but he was let go ahead of Buffalo’s preseason finale against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
