Shocking images have emerged showing blood dripping from the ceiling of a NHS hospital , in what has been described as a "disgusting" incident. The unsettling photos were taken at Barry Hospital in Wales. ‌

This is just the latest evidence highlighting the poor condition of some hospital buildings under the local health board's management. ‌

A recent report on the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff revealed the presence of pigeons in trauma theatres, among other serious concerns at the NHS facility. ‌

In addition to the disturbing images of blood dripping from the ceiling, there have also been reports of rat infestations at the hospital in coastal Barry.

The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board has apologised for the situation at the Colcot Road facility,
