This summer has brought all kinds of weather to KELOLAND. From triple-digit heat to heavy rainfall, there was no shortage of extremes. For some communities, it was a season that kept the record books busy.
We started off hot when the record high temperature was broken at the Rapid City airport on June 1st, then again on the 20th. Huron joined in on the heat as they climbed to 99 just two days later.
