Michael Irvin was awfully sure of himself that Micah Parsons was staying in Dallas.

"I guarantee Micah Parsons is not going anywhere," the Dallas Cowboys legend said on ESPN's NFL Live on Thursday, Aug. 28, amid trade rumors involving the disgruntled three-time All-Pro player . "Jerry's not that crazy. This is all what we just call negotiation stuff."

Yeah, about that.

A minute after the NFL on ESPN X account posted the video of Irvin making that declaration from its show that afternoon, Parsons was indeed going somewhere.

News broke at 4 p.m. that Parsons was heading to the Green Bay Packers in one of the biggest trades in franchise history.
