BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) -- Boardman police responded Thursday evening to Walmart on South Avenue after a woman lost control of her vehicle and knocked over a pole outside the front of the store.

It happened around 7:45 p.m. near the grocery and home entrance.

According to police, a medical emergency caused the woman to lose control of the car. After running over the pole, the car also hit a shelf display of potted plants.

Police said there was no damage to the store itself.

The woman's condition is currently unknown, but EMS was on site.
