DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The calendar may still say it's summer until September 22, but fall football is back! And, after season-long hiatus, the original Friday Frenzy returns to WAND this Friday.

The dictionary defines nice as, pleasing; agreeable; delightful. That's exactly what Mother Nature has in store for us as you are headed out the door to area football games or any other adventure. Sure, there may be a little sprinkle associated with a weak cool front over some of our southwestern counties, but you should NOT cancel outdoor plans based on that Friday.

It's an extended holiday weekend. Enjoy it by staying safe, weather-aware, and sweaty.
