0 Previous Auburn games have been played on Aug. 29. The Tigers have an 8-2 record in August – 0-1 on Aug. 27, 2-1 on Aug. 30 and 6-0 on Aug. 31. Since a 23-0 loss to Southern Cal on Aug. 30, 2003, the Tigers have run off five victories in the eighth month, defeating ULM 34-0 in 2008, Washington State 31-24 in 2013, Arkansas 45-21 in 2014, Oregon 27-21 in 2019 and Alabama A&M 73-3 in 2024. The only game that occurred earlier in August in Auburn history is a 20-18 loss to Miami (Fla.) on Aug. 27, 1984, in the Kickoff Classic in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
