Gabe Mansour had never seen the amount of green space in front of him with the ball in his hands as he did early in the second quarter in the opening game of the Michigan high school football season between No. 7 Clarkston and No. 5 Belleville at the Amazon Prep Kickoff Classic at Wayne State University.
The senior Clarkston defensive end scooped up a fumble forced on a sack by linebacker Griffin Boman, and ran untouched for more than 70 yards to put the Wolves up by 24 points in the second quarter. It was the decisive touchdown for the Wolves, who dominated Belleville on their way to a 38-7 win in the season-opening game.
