BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Projected LSU starting safety AJ Haulcy will miss the first half of Saturday’s game at Clemson, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Haulcy, who transferred to LSU from Houston, was ejected in the second half of the Cougars’ 2024 season finale for fighting.
NCAA rules state that if a player is ejected in the second half of a game, they must sit out the first half of the following game.
Following Thursday’s practice, LSU head coach Brian Kelly said they were still awaiting word from the NCAA and SEC on Haulcy’s status for Saturday. Kelly added that the team is prepared to play with Haulcy or without him.
