A triple killer was finally executed on death row today, over 30 years after his heinous crimes.
Curtis Windom's execution, marking a record 11th in Florida this year, saw him administered the lethal injection at a prison, becoming lifeless within minutes. He was convicted for the murders of his girlfriend Valerie Davis, her mother Mary Lubin, and Johnnie Lee, a man who he claimed owed him $2,000 (£1,500 today), and was sentenced to die in November 1992.
Despite the nearly 33-year wait for the execution, Kemene Hunter, sister of victim Valerie Davis, hailed justice today.
