A woman has died weeks after she was seriously injured in a house fire in Killingly .
Connecticut State Police on Thursday identified the victim as 75-year-old Kathy Samuelson of Killingly. She died last Thursday, weeks after being injured in a fire that broke out on Aug. 7 in the afternoon hours, state police said.
Samuelson suffered serious injuries and was flown via Life Star to an area hospital, the East Killingly Fire Department previously said. Crews responded to the residence on Hartford Pike and had to help Samuelson out of the burning home, fire officials said.
Another person was able to make it out of the home, according to fire officials.
