(WHTM) -- Midstate school districts are dealing with bus driver shortages. Many of them use the same bus company.
Some districts are offering better pay to lure drivers to drive their kids.
In what was the second week of school for some districts, things became worse. Some elementary schools were closed Tuesday as there weren't enough drivers.
Several Cumberland Valley routes canceled and others delayed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
By all accounts and appearances, things went relatively well at the West Shore School District where school started Tuesday. Rohrer Bus now serves the district, as well as Susquehanna Township and some Cumberland Valley routes.
Drivers at West Shore start at $25 an hour, while drivers at CV and Susquehanna start at $2 an hour.
