CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) -- The Champaign City Council is turning to the community and asking for feedback.
They're posting a survey ahead of two special meetings on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8, where members are expected to set their goals for the next two years.
Officials said it's a crucial part of figuring out its biggest agenda items.
“The city council goals process is really important because it establishes the priorities the council will take on for the next couple of years. So, they need to build consensus on what those goals are, and one of the things they want to measure is what does the public think,” City Administrative Services Manager Jeff Hamilton said.
