Teachers in Philadelphia have voted yes to ratify a tentative agreement that was reached over the weekend.

According to leader with the Philadelphia Federation of Teachers union, the agreement was ratified with a 70% majority of members voting yes.

Just two days ago, the union posted the details of the three-year contract onto social media.

Some of the terms include:T

3% raises each year

$1,400 bones paid in October.

An introduction of five weeks paid paternal leave for all new parents.

Bereavement leave may be taken within 30 calendar days instead of within 10 working days.
