WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page was hospitalized for atrial fibrillation (AFib), prompting him to share an important message about heart health monitoring during exercise.
Page, 69, underwent a successful cardioversion procedure to restore his normal heart rhythm, sharing details of the incident on social media in a video from his hospital bed .
He explained that the episode occurred during a training session in which he wasn’t wearing his usual heart monitor, Newsweek reported .
“I pushed myself too hard, felt ‘off’, dizzy, and heart racing... and well, here we are,” Page wrote. This marks his second AFib incident in three years, and he is scheduled for a cardiac ablation procedure to treat the condition next month, the report said.
