As the tension continued to build deep into the second half of a scoreless match between rivals St. Francis de Sales and St. John's Jesuit, freshman Grayson Destatte seized the moment for the Knights.

St. Francis scored twice in the second half to knock off the Titans 2-0 as Destatte scored the decisive goal. During the frantic moment with a loose ball in the 18-yard box, Destatte got his foot on it and finished into the back of the net for a 1-0 lead with 22:50 left at St. Francis.

“The ball came in and it hit a few people and just rolled out to me, and I just buried it,” said Destatte, who sprinted toward the student sections with arms spread wide after the goal. “I've never felt anything like it. This is great. We're not big fans of their school, so it felt really good.”
