ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- When Assemblyman Scott Gray returns to Albany in January, he wants to make sure a bill requiring passengers to wear seat belts on commercial buses becomes law.

"It has the backing of the NTSB when we drafted them," said Assemblyman Gray.
Gray said his bus bill has requirements similar to what’s already being done on airplanes— pre-trip safety instructions and seatbelt checks.
"You know, what do the windows do? How do they function? Where are the seat belts? And what your proper use is," explained Gray.
