MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - One of the two students killed in the Minneapolis school shooting on Wednesday previously lived in Madison, WMTV confirmed with a credible source.

Harper Moyski,10, was killed after a shooter opened fire at a Mass that hundreds of students at Annunciation Catholic School attended.

Her parents, Michael Moyski and Jackie Flavin, released the following statement to WMTV’s NBC affiliate in Minneapolis, KARE11, saying Harper was bright, joyful and deeply loved.

As the victim’s family heals from this loss, they stated they hope that their daughter’s memory “fuels action.”
