It was a pawsitively adorable scene on Thursday as dozens of stubby legged stars stole the show for Montreal’s corgi balade, the newest addition to this year’s fifth and largest annual corgi reunion, the Corgi Pawty.

‘Pawrents’ and fans braved the rainy conditions as they assembled at Atwater Market for a stroll with their furry friend alongside the banks of the Lachine Canal.

Thien Vu Dang, the official founder of the Corgi Pawty, says he organized the new event to take advantage of the long weekend and also to introduce attendees to the Ramen Ramen Street Festival, located as the end point for the balade at Hangar 1825 in Griffintown, which he also organized.
