COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Nearly 300 customers are reportedly without power in the area of Airport Road and Chelton Road as storms move through the area Thursday night.

As of 8:30 p.m., Colorado Springs Utilities reports 291 customers without power in the area.

Utilities crews estimate power should be restored before 10 p.m.

Numerous trees have fallen in the area as storms moved through. The 11 News weather team reports a possible microburst may have hit the area.

The Colorado Springs Police Department says multiple trees were down in the area following the storm. Officers said they were in the area alongside firefighters assisting in directing traffic.
