HUNT COUNTY, Texas — A Hunt County couple has been arrested after investigators seized narcotics, firearms and cash during a search of their home, authorities said Thursday.

Jeffery and Amanda Burton were taken into custody Aug. 27 after the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team executed a search warrant at their home in the 10000 block of Gaillard Woods. The search followed a July investigation into the distribution of controlled substances and marijuana from the home.

According to the sheriff’s office, investigators determined some of the drugs distributed from the residence had been given to minors.

Inside the home, investigators reported finding 558 grams of controlled substances, 392 grams of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, various THC products such as wax, gummies and vape pens,
