CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Akron Zips started their 2025 season with a 10-0 loss to visiting Wyoming on Thursday night at Infocision Stadium.

Wyoming dominated in total yardage 426-231 but the game was 3-0 most of the night. The only touchdown of the night came in the 4th quarter when Chris Durr, Jr. took a short pass from Kaden Anderson and went 44 yards to the end zone.

The Zips travel to Nebraska in Week 2 to play the Cornhuskers.
