LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A Little Rock City Board Director is still cashing in on his paycheck despite not attending meetings for over a year.
Ken Richardson, who represents the Southwest corner of the city, took a leave of absence last May after multiple life-threatening surgeries.
At the time, Richardson made it clear he had no intention of leaving his post, issuing the following statement to the people he represents:
“I have not abandoned you. I look forward to resuming the work I have previously done and completing the projects we started together.”
Richardson last appeared at a City Board of Directors meeting on May 14, 2024.
According to documents obtained by FOX 16 News, he is still getting paid.
The documents from the city show Richardson was paid $30,732.12 from May 2024 to June
