Fans of Nebraska Football cheered on the Huskers from Omaha for their season opener at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

'A beer for everybody':

Watch parties and tailgates were held across the Metro for the matchup against Cincinnati Thursday. KETV talked to fans at the Granary Green in Ralston.

"It's 75 and sunny outside, we've got food, we've got drinks, the kids are here, we're here playing games and watching football, you can't complain," Nebraska fan Michael Collins said.

Big Red Zone Rundown:

Granary Green sold tailgate spots for people to bring their watch parties to the parking lot, where they could watch the game on the big screen.

"I smoked some ribs, we did some Rotel cheese dip, chips, dips, vegetables, chocolate chip cookies, so we got here about 5 p.m.
