The wait is over. The 2025 high school football season has finally arrived in the Concho Valley. The Bronte Longhorns kicked off its new campaign Thursday night, hosting Santa Anna in a non-district matchup. These two schools last met in week one a season ago, when Santa Anna defeated Bronte by a final score of 42-22. The Longhorns sought a little vengeance against the Mountaineers heading into the season opener.
