LADUE — Troy senior quarterback Hunter Humphrey had no problem dissecting the Ladue defense Thursday night.
However, he did struggle with one opponent.
Humphrey went down three different times in the first half with cramping issues and even had to come out of the game for a play.
"A got a cramp in my left leg to start off," Humphrey said. "Two series later, I got a cramp in my right leg. Then, it was both of them."
Those quick painful thrusts didn't seem to slow Humphrey.
Or the Troy offense.
Humphrey passed for two scores and ran for another to lead the Trojans to a 43-0 win in the season opener for both teams at Ladue High.
The Trojans, who won their first 10 games last season, took control and never looked back. A running clock was instituted just 135 seconds into the second half
