Former Colorado Buffaloes safety Shilo Sanders was not selected in the 2025 NFL draft, although he was able to sign a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent.

However, Sanders' time with the franchise came to an end as he was waived with the rosters being trimmed to 53 players.

Sanders was ejected from the final preseason game against the Buffalo Bills after he threw a punch and hit Bills tight end Zach Davidson.

Sanders then cleared waivers and is searching for his next opportunity wherever it may be.
