GRESHAM, Ore. (KPTV) - Gresham Police say one person has died after a fiery crash on SE Kane Drive late Thursday night.

According to police, two cars crashed and caught fire on SE Kane at around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday.

One car was fully engulfed in flames before firefighters put out the flames.

The name of the victim has not been released.

SE Kane is closed between SE Palmquist Road and SE Powell Valley Road as crews continue working at the scene.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
