Having plumbed the depths of the gothic universe for her Wednesday press tour , Jenna Ortega looks to be taking inspiration from Hot Topic employees of the mid-00s.

Stepping out in New York for a Netflix event—the “Graveyard Gala”—celebrating the second series of her hit show, Ortega wore custom GapStudio by Zac Posen. The dress was a dark, faded gray purple jersey fabric with a twisted halter front and cut out back. The back of the dress fell into a deep plunge with more cut outs arpeggiating across the small of her back. Its long train fell in shreds, with braided ends.
