Donald Trump tends to believe that his presidential powers are unlimited. And as long as he has Congress and the Supreme Court in his pocket, it appears that he does, in fact, have unlimited power.

Trump is attempting, and perhaps succeeding, at rewriting history. His secretary of defense is attempting to remove all mention of any Black person having ever served this country. The Tuskegee Airmen never existed. Jackie Robinson never served in the military. There was never a Gen. Colin Powell. In Trump’s America, no Black person ever made a contribution to our military.
