A "DRUNK" pensioner had to be pulled from the sea after her car shot into the water at a ferry terminal on a New Zealand island.
Footage shows the SUV smashing through a glass bus shelter and into the ocean at the main passenger ferry terminal on Waiheke Island.
Stunned onlookers rushed to help as the woman's car sank.
Fortunately, she was able to clamber from the vehicle and was yanked out of the water.
Photos show bikes and railing left mangled by the impact.
A vessel mounted with a crane was called in to drag the sodden wreck from the ocean floor.
