Kyle Schwarber ended his 0-for-20 slump in some style after crushing four home runs and driving in nine runs as the Phillies hammered the Braves 19-4 on Thursday. By the time he stepped to the plate in the eighth inning, the crowd was begging for a fifth. He just missed, popping out, but history had already been made.

Schwarber, who completed his 1000th career hit in July, homered in the first, fourth, fifth, and seventh innings. Kyle Schwarber became only the 21st player in MLB history to hit four in a game and the first Phillie to do it since 2002. The win also tied the team record with seven homers in one game.

Social media exploded after the game. While many fans praised Schwarber, others couldn’t resist taking shots at Shohei Ohtani.
