LAWRENCE — Kansas football’s regular season continues Friday with a home game against Wagner, which is set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. (CT).
The Jayhawks (1-0) will have the chance to start 2-0 this fall. The Seahawks, who have yet to play a game this season, will have the opportunity to pull off an upset as an FCS-level opponent. KU is coming off of a win at home against Fresno State in week 0.
This is the second game Kansas coach Lance Leipold’s squad will play inside the new-look David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium. The game this past weekend against Fresno State, which ended up being a 31-7 victory, was a sellout crowd. Time will tell what’s possible with the Jayhawks fan base on Friday.
