After being placed in a home plagued by rats and with bloodstains on its curtains, a family say they have been abandoned by their local council since being evicted.
Adriana Kassakova, 53, and her two children were made homeless when their landlord evicted them without fault from their Ealing home of two decades. After being temporarily placed in a bed and breakfast they say had mould on curtains, rat droppings and a collpasing ceiling, they told Ealing Council that they couldn't stand to stay there.
The family were forced to find a home in the private sector, but say they have had no support from the council throughout their ordeal. The issues began when the family of three were told their landlord wanted to refurbish the home and increase the rent, as previously reported by MyLondon
