Several of Scotland’s most popular takeaways have been honoured at a prestigious awards ceremony recognising the country’s thriving fast-food industry this week. ‌

Popular eateries across the country were celebrated for their offerings, from curry houses and Chinese restaurants to street food vans and delis - and of course, the humble chip shop. ‌

Among the standout winners was The Wee Chippy in Anstruther. The iconic Fife fish bar took home the Fish and Chips Takeaway of the Year award . ‌

The family-run business, located in the scenic East Neuk of Fife, has built a reputation for using the freshest produce. Its owners work closely with a local seafood supplier, ensuring the fish is “second to none.”
