LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The driver of a Mercedes-Benz led authorities on a wild high-speed chase from South Los Angeles to the Inglewood area Thursday.

Authorities were initially chasing a driver who ended up crashing in the South L.A. area. That's when the driver ditched their car and jumped into a second vehicle, a white Mercedes-Benz.

The driver of the Mercedes continued to flee law enforcement at high speeds and eventually made it to the Inglewood area, near LAX.

The Mercedes traveled through LAX airspace and into the Culver City area. It's unclear if police were able to make an arrest.
