LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police are investigating after they say one person was injured in an overnight shooting on West Short Street.

According to police, the victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

Police say there is no suspect, but anyone with information is asked to call 859-258-3600.
