Juventus director Damien Comolli says Nico Gonzalez is unlikely to leave the club before deadline day.
Leeds United had been alerted to the attacker’s availability, with the player’s camp initially sounding out potential exit options. However, there has been no inkling that the Whites at this stage have made any advances towards the 27-year-old, who will be on sizeable wages in Italy.
Gonzalez , meanwhile, has been linked with a number of other European clubs, but it seems as though the Argentine will stay in Turin. Juventus chief Comolli gave an update to Spanish TV show El Chiringuito de Jugones.
“I don't think he can leave,” Comolli outlined. “We are not talking with Atletico Madrid about Nico. Nor with any other club. So I don't believe it, I think he's going to stay with us.”
