All eyes will be on Hugh Freeze and Auburn football on Aug. 29.

The Tigers are coming off four consecutive losing seasons and need to get the 2025 college football season off to a strong start against Baylor. Auburn's last winning season came during the 2020 COVID-19 shortened season when it finished 6-5 under Gus Malzahn.

Meanwhile, the Bears are coming off an 8-5 record in 2024 following back-to-back seasons. Baylor is hoping to contend for a Big 12 championship in Year 6 under coach Dave Aranda.

This marks the first matchup between the schools since a 15-14 Baylor win on Sept. 18, 1976. The Bears lead the all-time series 2-1-1.
