The Pacific Ocean remains somewhat active after Tropical Storm Juliette dissipated while the Atlantic is pretty calm for now, with only one tropical wave brewing.

The National Hurricane Center said in an 11 p.m. PDT advisory on Aug. 28 it is tracking two tropical waves in the Pacific, with both having medium-to-high chances of developing into stronger storms in the coming days.

The first system is currently a broad area of low pressure located several hundred miles south-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. The system, labeled by the NHC as EP93, is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms and forecasters say environmental conditions appear conducive for gradual development of this system.
